К сожалению в Грузии положение тяжёлое. Грагничащая с нами республика сегодня переживает не лучшие дни. Насколько мне известно сейчас Аэропорт Тбилиси отменил большинство рейсов и объявлена всеобщая мобилизация. Да поможет Бог мирным жителям и детям этой страны. А что будет с нами если боевые действия не прекрататся? Что будет с гражданами Грузии и Азербайджана, которые должны быть приглашены на интервью в Тбилиси?
Что-что… Напишете в посольство и спросите…
Может, куда-нибудь перенесут, кто их знает?.

Слава Богу боевые действия прекращаются уже. Надеюсь ко времени интервью всё уладится и граждане Грузии выигравшие Грин Кард смогут продолжать консульский процес, аэропорт в Тбилиси будет работать и граждане Азербайджана смогут безпрепятственно ехать в Тбилиси.
Это на сегодня. Решение может быть изменено позже. Всё будет зависеть от ситуации, как я понимаю.

Visas
Because of the crisis in Georgia, the US Embassy Tbilisi consular section is focusing its efforts on providing emergency assistance to American citizens. Therefore, visa services in Tbilisi are temporarily suspended until further notice.
Visa applicants who had visa appointments scheduled at US Embassy Tbilisi—either for immigrant or for nonimmigrant visas—should consider these appointments cancelled. Because the security situation in Georgia is tenuous, applicants should not go to US Embassy Tbilisi in person.
Immigrant visa interviews that were scheduled for Tbilisi will be rescheduled as quickly as possible. More information will be available in the next several days, and updates will be published here.
Immigrant visa cases that are presently at the National Visa Center, and would normally be sent to US Embassy Tbilisi, will be held at the National Visa Center until alternate arrangements can be made. The National Visa Center can be contacted by e-mail at NVCInquiry@state.gov, or by phone at (603) 334-0700.
Residents of Georgia who want to apply for a nonimmigrant visa — to visit, study, etc. — must do so in person at a US Embassy in another country. Please see that Embassy’s website or http://www.travel.state.gov/ for additional information on how to apply for a nonimmigrant visa.

Because of the crisis in Georgia, the U.S. Embassy Tbilisi consular section is focusing its efforts on providing emergency assistance to American citizens. However, limited visa services will resume on Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
Residents of Georgia can also apply for a nonimmigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy in a neighboring country; these consular sections are open for all nonimmigrant visa applicants who have an appointment. Appointment times in neighboring countries are, on average, one week or less.
For a non-immigrant visa appointment in Tbilisi on August 27 or later, please follow the instructions on this website, including completing the visa application forms and scheduling an appointment on line.
If there are no on line appointments available, and your case is an emergency, send an e-mail to tbilisivisa@state.gov providing name, date of birth, citizenship, and nature of emergency. The consular section will contact you via e-mail if your emergency request can be accommodated. If you are not contacted, please continue to try to schedule an on line appointment.
Some immigrant visa interviews that were scheduled for Tbilisi during the month of August are being rescheduled.
For immigrant visa applicants who are resident in Georgia, appointments are being rescheduled for U.S. Embassy Tbilisi. The Embassy will be in contact in order to re-schedule the appointment.

Сегодня уже 27 Августа, а новостей пока нет. На сайте посольства США в тбилиси всё та же информация.
Не переживайте, Sultan Selim, все должно решиться успешно. Я не нашел еще случаев на форуме, когда DV-ов накануне интервью переводили в другое посольство или долгое время держали в неведении.

Люди, есть ли среди участников форума кто нибудь, кто скорее всего будет проходить интервью в Тбилиси и case number would be current in october? Или только я один пока? Мне хотелось бы узнать, если есть такие среди нас, звонил ли кто нибудь в КСС? Есть ли какие-либо новости? Я звонил вчера и мне сказали что это будет известно в середине сентября, и попросили перезвонить. Может это связано с событиями и с работой консульства в Тбилиси?

Если я не ошибаюсь, вы писали что отослали первый пакет только летом. думаю что отсрочка связана скорее с тем что не успели еще обработать вашу анкету а не с положением в Тбилиси.
Надеюсь что в середине сентября вам назначат на октябрь. Удачи!
