The Database Developer & Administrator position involves participation in the design and development of future application releases, developing enhancements for current versions, and maintenance of existing ********ality. Candidates should possess a willingness to take ownership of projects and collaborate with clients and business teams on feature requests and issue resolution. Successful candidates will possess the following education, experience & skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 2-3 years experience in database development including PL/SQL, stored procedures, OLAP tools and Shell ******s
* Previous experience in a high availability environment
* Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
* Please note that you will be considered for this position only if you have proven working experience with Oracle
Experience with any of these technologies a plus:
* Experience with RAC/10G database cluster
* Experience with Websphere application servers and Java
* Experience with Data Warehousing technologies, methodologies and design
* Experience with BI platforms
