У меня возникла проблема, мой науч.рук не знает английского. Что вы можете порекомендовать?
Я поговорил с преподователем с кафедрыб , но у него тоже знания языка не очень и он мне сказал чтобы я сам написал себе рекомендательное письмо.
Вы не могли бы его просмотреть и высказать ваше мнение?
Reference letter
I am writing this reference letter on behalf of [name] . I have been [name] educator for four years and a reviewer of his bachalor and master thesises.
He completed his education at the [department]of the [University]. He was studying at the chair of [chair]. During his education he successfully accomplished all requirements of the master’s program of [program name]. He successfully passed all required courses (Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science), state exams on physics and mathematics, and demonstrated strong knowledge in specialization field.
Bachelor thesis was devoted to analysis to the functionality of [system name] and application of its toolset for solving of the task of [task de******ion].
Master thesis was devoted to the one of the most important problem on designing of information systems for automation of the technological processes , to development of the [system name]. With work is actual for the solving of the task of aircraft industry engineering. In his work he made great contribution to the project. [name] demonstrated strong knowledge of the object-oriented designing and programming. He also demonstrated deep insight of the problem and self-dependence.
Bachelor thesis and Master thesis were made with excellent performance. They close to the chair specialization and directed to solving actual applied tasks in the area of information technologies and automation of technological processes.
[name] has outstanding organizational skills. He is able to complete multiple tasks despite deadline pressure successfully. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to rise to any challenge that he must face.
I can also mention his leader skills. During his bachelor degree, he was a class monitor and a member of council of students.

Там очень много людей пишут короткие рекомендационные письма. Можно прямо кусками брать и использовать готовые стандартные выражения.
Ну если Вы спросили … Я конечно не претендую на знание английского в совершенстве, пусть меня поправят форумчане если что.
Честно говоря немного выглядит как дословный перевод с русского. Видно что Вы пользовались словарём для некоторых слов, причем не всегда выбирался наилучший вариант из доступных. Например: “During his education…” - так не говорят. В данном контексте больше подошло бы “During his study” или “During his course”. А наилучшее, на мой взгляд, 6ыло бы вообще опустить ето начало, и просто сказать: “[Name] has successfully met all the requirements towards Master degree in [program name]”.
Вот ещё пример: “Master thesis was devoted…” “devoted” - это когда солдат предан Родине, а в данном случае больше подходит “dedicated”.
Это только пара примеров, к тому же стиль хромает, но это опять таки на мой вкус. Со мной можно не соглашаться. Я поэтому и посоветовал обратиться на вышеназванный сайт для того чтобы получить представление как пишутся такие письма.
Огромное спасибо за замечания.Это действительно перевод письма, которое мне написал научный руководитель.

[name] demonstrated deep knowledge of the object-oriented design and programming (techniques/skills). He also demonstrated deep insight of (into ?) the problem and self-dependence (в чём это проявилось?).
Bachelor thesis and Master thesis (чьи?) were completed with excellence. Both theses are close to the chair specialization (тут совсем не понятно, что за chair.)and are dedicated to solving of actual applied (???) tasks(problems/issues?) in the area of information technologies and the area of automation of technological processes.

I can also mention his leadership skills. During his bachelor degree, he was a group leader and a member of Student Counsil. (Последние 2предложения надо либо в одно соеденить, либо 1ое выкинуть.)

Вам нужно все “ОН = НЕ” пересмотреть и где надо помеять на имя, а то всё НЕ да НЕ. А вообще мой перевод, это так опять же на мой вкус. Если что не так то звиняйте.

Chair- это кафедра.
Просто у нас специфика института.
Институт -> факультет -> базовая кафедра.
И основное обучение студент проходит на базовой кафедре.
Не могли бы вы высказатьсвое мнение о стиле письма?

На сколько я знаю в моём универе нет такого понятия как кафедра. есть [major] – факультет, а потом можно специализироваться. У мнея вот так: [University]–>[College of Engineering ]–>[School of Technology]–>[Information Technology Major]–> [Network and System Admin Specialization]. Но есть ешё и [departments]…
Вообще по собственному опыту говорю, что с References нужно быть осторожными. На сайте универов часто встречаются фразы, что типа мы не принимаем документы, которые побывали в руках поступающего. Вариант: или Вы указываете, что references were originally written in English или вы должны использовать услуги evaluation agencies (делают две недели и долларов этак за 100 минимум). На меня “наехали” в University of Rhode Island по этому поводу (хотя и русский и английский тексты рекомендаций были заверены росписями и печатями деканата). Shit happens, как говорится.

кто может подсказать как правильно писать рекомендационное письмо от принимающей стороны с Америки для получения гостевой визы.
Если можно на английском,или хотябы на русском что должно там быть в этом письме.

От принимающей стороны письмо требуется. Но не рекомендательное, а приглашающее. В свободном формате. Например:
Дорогая Иннеса! Приезжай к нам в отпуск в июне. С приветом, Принимающая Сторона.
К нему обычно прикладывается ксерокс документа, удостоверивающего личность принимающей стороны и законное пребывание в США. И могут хотеть подтверждение финансовой состоятельности - копию недавнего пэйчека или прошлогодней декларации о доходах. Подробности спросите в консульстве, что именно они хотят.
