[/SIZE][/b]Samarin - who had been attending high school in Pennsylvania for years under the fake name “Asher Potts” - was arrested Tuesday by police in Harrisburg. He was charged with identify theft, tampering with public records, theft by unlawful taking and three counts of conspiracy. On Friday, additional charges of sexual assault and corruption of minors were filed against him, in connection with an alleged sexual relationship in 2014 with a then-15-year-old female student.

At the time of his arrest, Samarin was living with a married couple, identified by WHTM as Michael and Stephayne Potts. Samarin says they came up with the plan to fake his identity.
Stephayne came up with the idea that we are going to adopt you," he continued. “We are going to bump five years of age and we can adopt you because at 20 years old we can’t adopt you, so bump five ages and we will adopt you. I said ok, looks like I have no choice. I really had no choice, either go back to war or do this. And they bumped five years of my age and they did not adopt me but make me their legal child.”

“I just want you to know it was not my idea,” he told WHTM.

Вспомнилось, как была по W&T, и мне задали вопрос: “А у женщин в Украине есть хоть какое-то права?”
Ответ, что у нас женщина - премьер-министр (вторая посла президента должность, как Vice President) вызвал удивление.
И не удивительно, “благодаря” вот таким вот “ораторам”.
Он сейчас много чего наплетет. Надо же как-то такое мошенничество объяснить. В 15-летней залет конкретный. Нет, ну чем иногда люди думают, ума не приложу.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A 23-year-old Ukrainian man accused of faking his name and age while attending a Pennsylvania high school and having sex with an underage girl pleaded guilty Monday.
Artur Samarin entered the plea to a number of fraud and sex charges, which carry penalties of up to 40 years in prison and $90,000 in fines.
Since Samarin has no sentencing deal, It will be up to Dauphin County Judge Deborah Curcillo to choose his punishment during sentencing scheduled for September.
He also faces federal fraud charges and could be deported.
Samarin, thin and pale and dressed in a yellow county prison uniform, said little as he stood before the judge with his lawyer, Adam Klein. He told the judge he had been speaking English for more than three years and understood the charges against him.
