I’m living and working in Moscow now. I work in AVIVA Insuarance. Aviva is the big british company. There are 60 000 employers in the company in the world. Main kind of business company is long-term care. There are 45 millions clients of company in the world. Main competitors of company are Allianz, AIG, Zurich Insurance Group, China Life Insurance. History of the company began in 1696(London, company “Hand in Hand”). Theodore Roosevelt, John Kennedy and other famous pepople were clients in difrent time.
I have been working since 2012 year in the company. My job - sql developer.
I attended in 3 projects for 3 years.
First project was legal paperwork. This was client-server application based on Oracle Data Base. This module was a part of big ERP system. I have need to develope electronic flow of documents between insurance company and judiciary. I made procedure, functions, triggers in Oracle server. Business logic of application was locate on database server. Clients part wrote on Delphi and display data set. Project was successfully implemented. The department of judical work was reduced for 7 to 2 people and this saved to company money.
Second project was module for check insured with special list. This list was formed of different sources. My work was to automate manual check with rows in excel file. There were no detail descrioption and techinical requirements. My role was to designed and developed application. Task devided on 2 parts. First part was to develope night oracle job, which check insured. And second part was to realize import check list from file. First part decided by procedure which check list with data set. There were realised posibillity of import list to database from excel, word and dbf format. Achievement of this project was that compete removal checking lists for IT department.
Third project was about automatization payment of agency fees. Purpose of this project was strengthening of control for remote agents. And implementation of this circuit to accounting transactions. There were many ERP system which make Accounting transactions. I had to develope server functional. Most of that was developing tariff functions. And also I need to develope agency report fees. And at the end of that work I have to submit all information in other ERP system by strong XML format. All tasks were successfully resolved. After that auditing company ‘Ernst & Yang’ estimated on fine the agency outline.
I worked in RBC media in 2011 year. RBC is big media holding. RBC consist of TV channel, newspaper, information agency and department of software development. History of the company began in 1993 year. There are 1500 employers in company. Operating profit in 2011 was about 8 billion dollars. Product line of the software division were special business internet browser, information block from the russia stocks and news channel. Clients of the company are b2b from petrochemical, metal industry. The company’s competitors are information agency InterFax, RIA Novosti.
I participated in project of preparing data for news delivery. I create, modify procedure, functions on PostreSQL. And also I makin considering and indexing large amounts of information with internal search system on Oracle. Internal search system was changed on Sphinx.
I worked in Intersoft Financial Lab in 2010 year. Company prepares reports for large bank. There are about 100 pepople work in the company. Main clients are large banks. Product line of company were formal report by MSFO and RSBU. The company’s competitors are system integrater, which work on russian market. I made report form by standart MSFO: IAS, IAS7, IAS12 for TransCapitalBank. This is a subsidiary bank of russian railways. Reports showed the financial statements, statements of cash flows, as well as income taxes.
