CURRENT WORK EXPERIENCE
Programmer (2002 – 2004), Senior programmer (2004 – 2008), Director of software development (2008 – present)
[1st Company], JSC (science & production company), [City], Russia
[1st Company] retains the leading position in Russia in the area of pipeline flaw detection services using intelligent detectors. Duty: develop a flaw recognition expert system based on interpretation of the signals, obtained from pipeline inspections.
• Developed a computer vision system for the interpretation of two-dimensional magnetic and ultrasonic diagnostical signals. It leads to increase the realibility and stability of identification results and to significally reduce the visual data analysis. Because of critical performance requirements, my own scientific library was designed, instead of Fortran libraries.
• Carried out extensive research work in the area of processing and identification of magnetic and ultrasonic signals. As a result, a new efficient signal processing algorithms were created.
• Developed algorithms for processing, filtration and identification of two-dimensional signals based on the methods of Fourier, wavelet, contour, statistical and cluster analysis, mathematical morphology methods, etc.
• Implemented methods of automatic pattern recognition invariant to translation, rotation and scaling transformations, which allows to correctly identify an arbitrarily-oriented and arbitrarily-sized objects.
• Developed a number of client software products, software tools and utilities, aimed for:
one- and two-dimensional arbitrary signal identification and processing
signal characteristics research
testing of the methods of signal processing
viewing and editing of automatic signal identification results
artificial synthesis of signals
• Conducted training courses for users.
Programmer (2001 – 2002)
[2nd Company], [City], Russia
[2nd Company] is a leading company in software development for informational and communication industry in Russia and neighboring countries.
• Developed ********al components of the billing system EWBiS (T-SQL, C++)
• Developed user Web-interfaces (HTML, Java Script)
• Developed an MS SQL Server 7.0-2000 database architecture fragment
Programmer (1998 – 2001)
[3rd Company], [City], Russia
Computer Engineering Laboratory Assistant (1995 – 1997)
[4th COmpany]
EDUCATION
Ph.D. in Computer Science (2009), [City], Russia
[Institute], Russian Academy of Sciences
