Добрый день.

Можете подсказать про импланты для зубов. Сколько это будет стоить в США. Может, у кого был опыт.
Родителям нужно сделать. А в Москве я не доверяю клиникам. Был у самого опыт не очень хороший.
Да и цены тут бешенные. Насчитали около 27,5т.$
Виза у родителей б1 или б2 на 2 года.
И еще можете, что-нибудь сказать про цены на Виниры.

наверное, не стоит безоглядно не доверять московским клиникам и так же по умолчанию доверять клиникам в сша. как здесь, так и там (как и везде) может попасться хороший специалист, а может - не очень, даже в хорошей клинике. надо изучать отзывы о конкретных клиниках и работе конкретных специалистов.
про цены сша и москвы не знаю - не сталкивалась, а в кишиневе подруга делала 2 импланта года 4 назад - где-то 850 долларов каждый, прижились, все в порядке, она довольна до сх пор.

подскажите, а медстраховка как то распространяется на зубы? или все делается за свои деньги?
и еще может кто знает, сколько в америке стоит установка брекет-системы?

на зубы - отдельная страховка, как и на глаза. иногда они прилагаются к основной медицинской, тогда условия лучше, платишь только за посещение врача - 20-30 долларов за визит. ну, и за major (удаление нервов и т.п.) доплачиваешь 20%, а если покупать отдельно, то тогда в среднем страховка стоит долларов 35 в месяц, бесплатный 1 или 2 осмотра с чисткой в год, за пломбы доплачиваешь 20%-30% от стоимости, за удаление нервов, пломбирование каналов, коронки - доплачиваешь 50-70%, импланты не покрываются. условия варьируются в зависимости от штата и страховки, я написала что знаю по орегону. можно в гугле поиcк задать dental insurance in ________ и выдаст информацию по интересующему вас штату.

Брекет-системы не покрываются страховкой, стоимость зависит от многих факторов, ~ 4-5K, сотрудник завлатил 4,200 за брекет для 14-летнего ребёнка.
Пишу о NY, может в других штатах по другому, не знаю.

У меня имплант на моляр…вместе со страховкой (которая покрыла только часть коронки) встал в $4,500. Делали почти год! Сделали хорошо.
На виниры цены примерно - 2,000 за зуб, страховкой тоже не покрываются…но ето керамические, композиционные здесь винирами не считаются и стоят, соответственно, как пломбы, но надо найти врача, который согласиться ето делать, так как им не выгодно возиться. Я делал в России, намного дешевле.

хоть ничего серьезнее пары пломб у меня во рту нет, я всегда считала, что имплант и коронка - разные вещи.
коронка - банальный протез - зуб стачивается, сверху одевается коронка, частично покрывается страховкой, имплант - вживление в кость (надкостницу или как она там называется) искусственного зуба целиком, который в идеале должен прижиться и не отторгаться и вообще быть как родной)). это страховкой не покрывается. :whats_up:

Мне предложили цену на брекеты для сына 5-6К. Думаю, на Украине будет дешевле, будем ставить там.

У shmike все правильно, ошибки нет. То, что пациент называет “имплантом”, на самом деле состоит из трех частей:

  • штифта, который ввинчивается в десну (собственно имплант),
  • надстройки “абатмента”, которая устанавливается на штифт через несколько месяцев (после приживания)
  • и коронки, которая одевается поверх всей этой конструкции и имеет вид зуба.
    Цена может варьироваться от 3 до 4,5 тыс за один зуб, но есть нюансы. Например, если нужно поставить целую нижнюю челюсть, то делается мост, который будет “посажен” всего лишь на 2 штифта по краям, так что цена будет ниже.
    Насчет брекет-системы - если ехать делать ее куда-либо, то нужно в этом месте оставаться на все время, пока полный комплекс брекет-процедур не будет закончен, т.е. в самом лучшем случае на год. У моей дочки был сложный случай и эта процедура заняла 4 года, но в самом начале нам прогнозировали не больше 2 лет. Если врач в Украине или где-либо еще согласится делать брекет-систему и позволить ребенку уехать - это сразу же говорит о недобросовестности врача, без комментариев.
    В зависимости от сложности на сегодняшний день брекет-система может стоить от 2 до 6 тыс.

наша взрослая соседка летает в Россию со своей российской брекетной системой, подкручивать. Ей дешевле там сделать, чем здесь за $10,000. Заодно и родственников посещает.

И как часто она у вас летает?.. С лигатурными брекетами (т.е. с резиночками) ортодонта нужно каждый месяц-полтора навещать.
У меня сейчас брекеты, я бы не стала так рисковать… Если замочек отвалится и его в течении месяцев 2х не приклеить - у кого-то просто процесс лечения чуть затянется, а у кого-то вообще всё насмарку пойти может.

я понятия не имею, как часто она летает, но явно не каждый месяц-полтора. ПО тысяче за билетик - дешевле здесь поставить за $10К.

Но голливудские звезды не делают 32 импланта :slight_smile: Просто дентал-культура в США действительно на высоком уровне и к настоящему времени это уже дает серьезные результаты.
Люди приучены следить за своими зубами всерьез, с детства. Обыкновенная чистка зубов делается после каждого приема пищи, включая флосс и полоскания обеззараживателями. Если даже этому не научат родители, то этому учат в школе, начиная с киндергардена. Борьба с курением серьезно поспособствовала визуальному отбеливанию, но и медицинской процедурой отбеливания люди стараются себя “побаловать”. Визит к стоматологу каждые полгода на чистку - обязательно. Консультация ортодонта еще в младшешкольном возрасте - обязательно. Если у ребенка постоянные зубы выросли кривыми, то набор ортодонтических процедур в возрасте начиная с 10-12 лет - как само собой разумеющееся. К школьному выпускному балу уже редко кто остается не то, что с кривыми зубами, а даже с бракетами, это уже закончено и забыто (имею в виду нормальные семьи со средним достатком).
Доберусь до дома, найду фотки дочки до и после наших четырехлетних мытарств, выложу, крайне впечатляет. При этом об имплантах речи не идет, всего лишь хорошая ортодонтия и постоянный уход.

Ничего, справились, отказывали себе в малейших мелочах, сын в 13 лет газетки на найденном на помойке велике развозил - на зубы сестре зарабатывал, хотя мечтал об игровой приставке. Limitations
• Routine examination is covered twice in a Policy Year.
• Comprehensive oral evaluation is covered once in a 3-year period from the date of
service per person per dental office. Additional comprehensive oral evaluations will
be allowed as routine examinations. The patient will not be responsible for any
difference in cost when services are provided by a Participating Dentist.
• Complete mouth (any number or combination of intraoral and/or extraoral x-rays,
billed for same date of service, that equals or exceeds the allowed fee for a complete
series is considered a complete series for payment purposes) or panorex
x-rays are covered once in a 3-year period from the date of service.
• Supplementary bitewing x-rays are covered once in a Policy Year.
• Diagnostic services and x-rays related to temporomandibular
joints (jaw joints) are
not a paid covered benefit.
Exclusions
• Consultations or elective second opinions.
• Study models.
• Caries susceptibility/risk tests.
PREVENTIVE
Covered Treatment
• Prophylaxis (cleaning).
• Periodontal maintenance.
• Space maintainers when used to maintain space for eruption
of permanent teeth.
Limitations
• Prophylaxis or periodontal maintenance (but not both) is covered twice in a Policy
Year.
• Replacement of a space maintainer previously paid for by WDS is not a paid covered
benefit.
Exclusions
• Plaque control program (oral hygiene instruction, dietary, instruction and home
fluoride kits).
• Fissure sealants.
• Cleaning of a prosthetic appliance.
• Topical application of fluoride.
CLASS II
You should consult the provider regarding any charges that may be your responsibility
before treatment begins.
GENERAL ANESTHESIA
Covered Treatment
• General anesthesia when administered by a licensed Dentist or other WDSapproved
Licensed Professional who meets the educational, credentialing and
privileging guidelines established by the Dental Quality Assurance Commission of
the state of Washington or as determined by the state in which the services are
rendered.
Limitations
• General anesthesia is covered in conjunction with certain covered endodontic,
periodontic and oral surgery procedures, as determined by WDS, or when medically
necessary, for a physically or developmentally disabled person, when in
conjunction with Class I and II covered dental procedures.
• General anesthesia for routine post-operative procedures is not a paid covered
benefit.
• Either general anesthesia or intravenous sedation (but not both) is covered when
performed on the same day.
INTRAVENOUS SEDATION
Covered Treatment
• Intravenous sedation when administered by a licensed Dentist or other WDSapproved
Licensed Professional who meets the educational, credentialing and
privileging guidelines established by the Dental Quality Assurance Commission of
the state of Washington or as determined by the state in which the services are
rendered.
Limitations
• Intravenous sedation is covered in conjunction with certain covered endodontic,
periodontic and oral surgery procedures, as determined by WDS.

PALLIATIVE TREATMENT
Covered Treatment
• Palliative treatment for pain.
RESTORATIVE
Covered Treatment
• Amalgam restorations and, in anterior teeth, resin-based or glass ionomer restorations
(fillings) for treatment of carious lesions (visible destruction of hard tooth
structure resulting from the process of dental decay) or fracture resulting in significant
loss of tooth structure (missing cusp).
• Resin-based composite or glass ionomer restorations placed in the buccal (facial)
surface of bicuspids.
• Stainless steel crowns.
Limitations
• Restorations on the same surface(s) of the same tooth are covered once in a 2-year
period from the date of service.
• If a resin-based composite or glass ionomer restoration is placed in a posterior
tooth (except on bicuspids as noted above), it will be considered as a cosmetic
procedure and an amalgam allowance will be made. The difference in cost is your
responsibility.
• Stainless steel crowns are covered once in a 2-year period from the date of
service.
• Restorations necessary to correct vertical dimension or to alter the morphology
(shape) or occlusion are not a paid covered benefit.
Exclusions
• Overhang removal, copings, re-contouring or polishing of restoration.
ORAL SURGERY
Covered Treatment
• Removal of teeth.
• Preparation of the mouth for insertion of dentures.
• Treatment of pathological conditions and traumatic injuries of the mouth.
Exclusions
• Bone replacement graft for ridge preservation.
• Bone grafts, of any kind, to the upper or lower jaws not associated with periodontal
treatment of teeth.
• Tooth transplants.
• Materials placed in extraction sockets for the purpose of generating osseous filling.
PERIODONTICS
Covered Treatment
• Surgical and nonsurgical procedures for treatment of the tissues supporting the
teeth. Services covered include periodontal scaling/root planing, gingivectomy and
limited adjustments to occlusion (8 teeth or less).
Limitations
• Periodontal scaling/root planing is covered once in a Policy Year.
• Limited occlusal adjustments are covered once in a Policy Year.
• Periodontal splinting and/or crown and bridgework in conjunction with periodontal
splinting, crowns as part of periodontal therapy and periodontal appliances are not
a paid covered benefit.
Exclusions
• Occlusal guard (nightguard) and occlusal splints.
• Gingival curettage.
• Major (complete) occlusal adjustment.
ENDODONTICS
Covered Treatment
• Procedures for pulpal and root canal treatment.
• Services covered include pulp exposure treatment, pulpotomy and apicoectomy.
Limitations
• Root canal treatment on the same tooth is covered only once in a 2-year period
from the date of service.
• Re-treatment of the same tooth is allowed when performed by a different dental
office.
Exclusions
• Bleaching of teeth.
Accidental Injury
Washington Dental Service will pay 100% of the filed fee or the maximum allowable fee
of covered dental benefit expenses arising as a direct result of an accidental bodily
injury. However, payment for accidental injury claims will not exceed the unused program
maximum. The accidental bodily injury must have occurred while the patient was eligible.
A bodily injury does not include teeth broken or damaged during the act of chewing or
biting on foreign objects. Coverage includes necessary procedures for dental diagnosis
and treatment rendered within 180 days following the date of the accident.
GENERAL LIMITATIONS (Dental)
• Dentistry for cosmetic reasons is not a paid covered benefit.
• Restorations or appliances necessary to correct vertical dimension or to restore the occlusion;
such procedures include restoration of tooth structure lost from attrition, abrasion or
erosion and restorations for malalignment of teeth are not a paid covered benefit.
• General anesthesia/intravenous (deep) sedation is not a paid covered benefit,
except as specified by WDS for certain oral, periodontal, or endodontic surgical
procedures. General anesthesia is not a paid covered benefit except when medically
necessary for a physically or developmentally disabled person, when in conjunction
with covered dental procedures.
GENERAL EXCLUSIONS (Dental)
This Plan does NOT cover the following:
• Services for injuries or conditions which are compensable under Worker’s Compen25
sation or Employer’s Liability laws, services which are provided to the covered
Student by any federal, state or provincial government agency or provided without
cost to the covered Student by any municipality county, or other political subdivision
other than medical assistance in this state, under medical assistance RCW
74.09.500, or any other state under 42 U.S.C., Section 1396a, section 1902 of the
Social Security Act.
• Bleaching of teeth.
• Application of desensitizing agents.
• Experimental services or supplies. Experimental services or supplies are those
whose use and acceptance as a course of dental treatment for a specific condition
is still under investigation/observation. In determining whether services are experimental,
WDS, in conjunction with the American Dental Association, will consider if
(1) the services are in general use in the dental community in the state of Washington;
(2) the services are under continued scientific testing and research; (3) the
services show a demonstrable benefit for a particular dental condition and (4) they
are proven to be safe and effective. Any individual whose claim is denied due to
this experimental exclusion clause will be notified of the denial within 20 working
days of receipt of a fully documented request.
Any denial of benefits by WDS on the grounds that a given procedure is deemed
experimental may be appealed to WDS within 60 days of the denial. By law we
must respond to such appeal within 20 working days after receipt of all documentation
reasonably required to make a decision. The 20 day period may be extended
only with written consent of the covered Student.
• Analgesics such as nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, or euphoric drugs or injections.
• Prescription drugs.
• In the event a covered Student fails to obtain a required examination from a WDSappointed
consultant dentist for certain treatments, no benefits shall be provided
for such treatment.
• Hospitalization charges and any additional fees charged by the dentist for hospital
treatment.
• Dental services started prior to the date the Student became covered for services
under this program.
• Broken appointments, patient management problems, and completing claim forms.
• Habit breaking appliances, including nightguards, except as specifically provided
herein.
• Orthodontic services or supplies and services for temporomandibular joint
dysfunction.
• TMJ services or supplies.
• This program does not provide benefits for services or supplies to the extent that
benefits are payable for them under any motor vehicle medical, motor vehicle nofault,
uninsured motorist, under-insured motorist, personal injury protection (PIP),
commercial liability, homeowners policy or other similar type of coverage.
• In the event a student ceases to be covered, WDS shall not pay for services beyond
the termination date, except for the completion of single procedures prepared prior
to termination but completed within 3 weeks of termination.
• Expense incurred which is recoverable under any other insurance policy or service contract,
and expense incurred as a result of acts of some other person and payable
by that person.
• All other services not specifically included in this program as covered dental benefits.
Washington Dental Service shall determine whether services are covered dental
benefits in accordance with standard dental practice and the general Limitations
and Exclusions shown in the contract. Should there be a disagreement regarding
the interpretation of such benefits, the subscriber shall have the right to appeal
the determination in accordance with the non-binding appeals process in this
contract and may seek judicial review of any denial of coverage of benefits.

Можете подсказать, в русском понимании если вдруг заболит зуб и придется его лечить с удалением каналов или удалять, стоит покупать отдельную страховку? Или просто для профилактического осмотра? Вообщем меня сумма в $300 и $1000 смущает… Цены-то совсем другие…

спасибо за разъяснение, я немного по-другому себе это представляла. имплант - судя по описанию, я всегда считала штифтом - ну, так то, что вы описали, всегда в молдавии называли люди, далекие от стоматологии)))))
