Для полноты понимания, прикладываю мою последнюю переписку с ними.
"Dear employees of Progressive company,
since telephone conversations with your employees turned out to be
fruitless, I am going to try to find out the truth in a written form.
This August my husband and I signed an auto insurance contract with your
company. We duly paid an amount established by you every month.
In two months the amount increased, and you asked a proof of our previous
insurance. On October 13th, I called to your hotline to ask what exactly we
need to do to keep the same amount of payment.
Your employee assured me that an insurance policy in the Russian language
would be sufficient. After I sent 2 our previous policies I called again to
make sure you received the e-mail.
To be safe, I asked once again if you would need the policies translated,
and your employee assured me that if your company were not able to
translate them (or found the translator) by the last day of payment, you
would find another solution for us.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that two different
employees assured me that a policy in Russian would be enough to come back
to the previous price. I didn't ask for advice from my neighbour or a
stranger: I contacted your hotline to ask your competent (as I thought)
employees. Since the last day of payment came, and the amount didn't
change, I called again, and at that time you tried to assure me that you
didn't do the translation, and apologized for the wrong information.
The thing is that I don't need apologies, I want you to do what you have
promised. By your unprofessional actions you have already made me go to
another insurance company, and now you are trying to say that for some
reason we owe you some amount of money. Your employee told me not to worry
and that you would think of something for us while you are looking for
translators. So please know, that you don't need to think of any other
solution for us. And as for translators, please find them, and we don't
want to hurry you, we are ready to wait.
So I ask you to remove our debt because I'm sure I did everything what I
I am sorry to hear about the status on your policy and the previous insurance policy (POP) in Russian language.
I reviewed the policy and also the notes documented by one of the representatives after speaking to one of our supervisors on 10/28/2015 at 5:09 p.m. It shows that you were advised that we do not have a Russian translator and that POP would need to be sent in English before rate could be changed.
Because you were not satisfied with the response, you requested to cancel the policy effective 10/13/2015. The representative processed the cancelation and advised of balance owed due to rate increase. Because you expressed concerns with balance, the representative advised that if the POP is received in English we could adjust for balance owed. You were also advised that any fees or penalties charged by the state for vehicle being uninsured will not be Progressive's responsibility since you requested to back date the cancel date. It shows that you understood the information given by the insurance.
The balance at this time is $80. You can submit the payment via one of the following options:
1. Online at http://www.progressive.com.
2. Call our automated phone system at 1-800-999-8781. It's available anytime.
3. Mail your payment to:

Please include your name and policy number with your payment. Your payment must be postmarked by its due date.
You have three options for sending us the translated proof of prior in English and we'll revise the premium owed:
Fax your proof to 1-877-280-5587.

Or, mail your proof to:

Please include your name and policy number on each page, and allow five to seven days for us to review your material.
Итак, девушка, ответившая мне, берет только мои последние разговоры с ними, скромно умалчивая о том, что было до этого. И перевод, сделанный, правда, мной, им был выслан. Это после моего разговора с третьим сотрудником, когда мне все еще говорили, что они переводчика найдут, но будет быстрее и лучше, если я пришлю перевод, пусть и не заверенный.
Там написано что 10/28 вы отменили полис ретроактивно с 10/13. Это правда? А теперь коронный вопрос. Попросив отменить полис ретроактивно вы на эти даты другую страховку имели? Если нет то ждите письма счастья от DMV. С добавочными штрафами.
Не за отмену. А за неимение.
