ИМХО… Российские хоккейные заправилы просто поняли что слишком мало за Малкина получили, вот и раздувают скандал.

Странно что в Российских СМИ не освещают мнение и желания самого Малкина. Не выгодны российской прессе видимо слова самого Малкина. А он ведь давал интервью российской прессе:
Asked why he signed with Metallurg, Malkin told the Russian daily Sport Express: “I signed it because they were strongly pressuring me. I explained to them without end that I wanted to play in the NHL, that as a player it’s necessary for me to grow, that I promised Pittsburgh. But no one wanted to listen to me. They pushed their own arguments.”
“You understand that they promised (last year) to let me go in a season,” he added. “They promised. And here’s the politics. I was very offended.”
Ведь если он сбежал по их словам, значит было от чего бежать…
