Очень часто встречаю на форуме, что если организация которая хочет вас нанять на работу non-profit, то не обязательно подавать на рабочую визу H1B в апреле, можно в любoе время. Меня мучает вопрос что значит организация non-profit? Нигде не могу найти ответ на это. Помогите пожалуйста уважаемые форумчане.
Это значит, что целью деятельности организации не является зарабатывание денег. Например, фонды благотворительные. Поправте, если не так.
А если целью организации не является зарабативание денег, то какой им смисл приглашать нових работников? И почему им проще получить визу Х1Б в любой мометн, не именно в апреле отправлять петицию?

Насколько я знаю, организация должна быть не только non-profit, но при этом еще быть связана с research.
Приглашают наверное потому что работа есть, которую нужно делать 
А получить проще, потому что на компании, удовлетворяющие этим условиям, не распространяются H1B-квоты (cap exempt H1B visas).

И еще такой вопрос. Кто знает подскжите пожалуйста какую еще визу может мне поставит работодатель кроме H1B i H2B?
работодатель визу не ставит. Ее ставит консул. Работодатель может подать на [H1b, H2b, J-1, L1] и еще кучу виз, в зависимости от того, что вы будете делать, кем вы будете работать, т.д.
