Популярный музыкальный журнал Rolling Stone три года назад опубликовал список 500 песен, которые объявлены лучшими для всех времен и народов. На самом деле “все времена” охватывают период последних пяти десятилетий.
Взыскательное жюри из 172-х музыкантов, поэтов и исполнителей немало потрудилось, чтобы подготовить эту подборку песенной классики. В состав жюри вошли Джони Митчелл, Элвис Костелло, Арт Гарфанкел, основатель компании Motown Records Берри Горди и икона “тяжелого металла” Оззи Осборн.

Честно говоря, я не совсем согласен с Satisfaction на 2 месте при том что например Blowin’ in the Wind только на 14. Интересно по каким критериям рейтинг составлялся
От этого рейтинга вообще душком попахивает. мало того что список можно было по алфавиту расположить,там ведь всё равно не по местам… его крайне не удобно читать. и правда а по какому принципу они компазиции отбирали??? что опрашивали 150 000 радиослушателей разных возрастов и стран? а почему там только англоязычные компазиции? или в мире больше нечего выдающегося в мире музыки не происходило…это просто не что иное как личное мнение кучки людей. грош цена рейтингу где упоминается “Нирвана” и нет Барбры Стрейзанд с её шедевральной вещью " women in love" она между прочим 1983 года.нет Хьюстон с " i will always love you" зато “блонди” два раза… абра кадабра какая то… а в целом я думаю что у каждого любителя музыки свой рейтинг,и он туда не кого не пустит. извеняюсь за свой пост, если просмотрел кого в списке. обожаю много песен из этого списка…1-ое место Боба Дилана справедливо, песня Like A Rolling Stone - роскошна, ну и еще очень нравятся Simon&Garfunkel, Weezer, Beastie Boys, The Stooges и другие
Это ещё ничего, я видел рейтинг величайших гитаристов века, так туда входили… The Edge, Kurt Cobain, Keith Richards !!! (Для тех, кто музыкой не занимается: эти товарищи играют на уровне школьника, взявшего гитару полгода назад. А звёздами они стали по другим причинам. )
