Может кто может поделиться опытом, у меня родной брат гражданин США, как только получил гражданство(2-3 года назад) подал на меня документы на Familiy Immigration, сроки рассмотрения там мягко говоря жуткие, сейчас рассматривают дела людей кто подал в Октябре 2001 года. Я на 100% еврей.
Можно ли как то ускорить процесс моего переезда в США, кроме подачи на политическое убежище? По еврейскому вопросу? По паролю? Другим способом? Посоветуйте пожалуйста.
поправка лаутенберга. По еврейскому вопросу как раз-таки. Вариант Refugee. Продолжительность процесса - от 3х до 5ти лет в среднем. Вероятность положительного исхода мероприятия мала, но есть. Необходимы доказательства, что Вас притесняли, и обоснованные опасения за свою жизнь и свободу в стране проживания.
В ХИАС писал письмо с вопросом о поправке лаутенберга с их сайта, получил ответ - сейчас поправка не работает. Судя по их сайту, сейчас они могут помогать только евреям с иранской территории.
Вот что было в том письме:
Dear Dmitriy,
The Lautenberg refugee program for Jews and certain denominations of Christians in the FSU currently does not accept new applications until further consideration by the US Congress. If the Lautenberg program reopens in the future, one may qualify for the Lautenberg refugee program if he/she meets some criteria: one must have a qualifying relative in the USA (parents, children, parents, or grandparents). If the program reopens in the future, the US relative should contact us at 1-800-442-7714 or 212-216-7697 for further instructions.

A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. A refugee has a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group.
